Getting Started…
How do I schedule a session?
You can book an appointment by calling, emailing, or using my online scheduler. If you'd like to see if we're a good fit, I offer a free 20-minute consultation.
What if I don’t want to talk about something?
That’s completely okay! Therapy is a space where you control what you share and when. If there’s something you’re not ready to talk about, we’ll respect that and work at a pace that feels safe and comfortable for you. My goal is to build trust so we can explore those topics together if and when you’re ready.
What if I’m nervous about starting?
That’s completely normal! It takes courage to start therapy. My role is to provide a judgment-free space where we go at your pace.
Will you get tired of hearing me talk about the same things repeatedly?
Not at all! Healing isn’t a straight path; sometimes, working through something means revisiting it multiple times. If a topic keeps coming up, that’s often a sign it’s important and deserves attention. I’ll never get tired of supporting you through that process. We’ll work together to understand why it’s coming up and find ways to help you move forward at your own pace.
How do I prepare for my first session?
Before your first session, take a moment to reflect on what brings you to therapy and any goals you might have. I’ll guide the conversation, so don’t worry if you’re unsure! If it's a virtual session, find a quiet, private space where you feel comfortable.
How soon can I get an appointment?
My availability depends on my caseload, but I try to schedule new clients within one week. If you'd like to start therapy, please let me know, and I’ll do my best to accommodate you!
