About Me
Hi, I’m Kate Sutton, and I’m so glad you’ve found your way here. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master’s in Education in Human Sexuality, and I’m passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges in a compassionate and supportive environment.
I have extensive experience working with individuals facing a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, communication struggles, life transitions, and trauma. With specialized training in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and a strong commitment to a trauma-informed approach, I incorporate a blend of therapeutic techniques, such as CBT, psychoanalysis, and narrative therapy, to help clients find meaningful change and resilience in their lives.
In addition to my work in general therapy, I have expertise in the forensic field, where I conduct psychosexual evaluations, provide therapy for individuals with problematic sexual behaviors (PSB), and supervise other clinicians in this specialized area. I am a Liensed Sex Offender Treatment Provider & Evaluator and have worked in that capacity for over a decade. While this is an important part of my practice, my focus extends beyond forensics, and I’m committed to helping clients address a wide range of concerns—from personal growth to overcoming trauma to managing life’s day-to-day challenges.
In my free time, I enjoy cooking, traveling, and spending quality time with my husband and our dog. I believe in the importance of a balanced life, and I bring that belief into my practice by creating a warm, safe, and empowering space for my clients to explore their challenges and work toward their goals.
Thank you for taking the time to learn a little more about me. I’m here to support you on your journey, whether you're facing a specific challenge or simply seeking a space to grow and heal. I look forward to working with you!
